Learning by doing and testing your skills!
The skills of your Emergency Response Officers will be thoroughly tested during our one-day refresher course. No tutorials or powerpoint presentations, your employees will immediately participate in staged large and small calamities in order to assess whether they know what to do in case of a real emergency. Regularly testing and further developing the required skills is key for the Emergency Response Officer. We will make sure your employees are able to act in case of a calamity in your building!
Our trademark: practice, practice and practice again. The testing, extra practice and development of the (not yet mastered) emergency response skills ensures that your EROs can improve themselves and act independently if an emergency occurs at your location. If your EROs master the necessary skills, they receive the ERO pass and certificate.

How is this course structured?
During this 1-day refesher course the skills of your EROs are tested in order to ensure they are able to act adequately in case of an emergency. The participants will first demonstrate how to provide First Aid: everyone will perform CPR with and without an AED, they will bandage wounds and show how to prevent someone from suffocating.
After lunch, your employees will test their knowledge and skills during various challenging scenarios. Each participant will demonstrate how to extinguish fires by making use of different fire extinguishers and will show how to safely evacuate people from a building.
We measure the skills of your EROs and focus on the skills that are not yet fully mastered. This way we ensure that your EROs can act in an emergency.
Methodology
Prior to the course day, the participants can go through the e-learning and take the theory exam to refresh their theoretical knowledge.
On the course day, the participants are tested on their practical skills according to the guidelines of the NIBHV. When the exam is successfully completed and the participants have demonstrated they have mastered the skills, they will receive an official Soliede ERO pass and certificate.
The e-learning will remain available for a year, so that the EROs can use it as a reference.
