Training Specs

How is this course structured?
The Emergency Response training course is a two-day course. During the morning part of the first day, participants will practise how to provide First Aid: everyone will perform CPR with and without an AED, will practise bandaging wounds and how to prevent someone from suffocating. During the afternoon, your employees will test their fire-extinguishing and evacuation skills in various challenging scenarios. Each participant will practise extinguishing a fire by making use of different fire extinguishers and will learn how to safely evacuate people from a building.
The second day is dedicated to testing the practical skills of each participant. The focus is on being able to act with confidence in an emergency situation.
Methodology
Prior to the first day of the course, the participants must have gone through the e-learning and have passed the theory exam. The practical skills are taught on the first day of the course, after which the participants have a week to go through the theory again and possibly practice with each other.
During the second day, the participants are tested on their practical skills according to the guidelines of the NIBHV. When both exams are successfully completed and the participants have mastered the skills sufficiently, they will receive an official Soliede ERO pass and certificate.
The e-learning will remain available for a year, so that the EROs can use this as a reference.
